An MSI R9 390x? Just temps go over 78c on load some games from last year or 2 years ago. I tried using software like afterburner but for some reason no matter what i do the computer keeps black screening so i have to reset the PC. Can someone help me underclock it? Maybe that will bring temps down.

78c is totally fine, is there a reason you need to go below that?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

I thought 78c is bad? Feels warm near the vents of the case.

Yes, it's going to feel warm, but that's not relevant. The GPU can run at 78C just fine.

It's like saying that engine coolant sitting at 200 degrees F is bad because the car feels hot in the front. Cars can and are designed to run at those higher temperatures. The GPU is completely okay at that temperature.
