Charger Adapter help

So how big of a difference does it make if I use a replacement charger with an output with 20V, 4,5A if my original (broken) charger was 20V 3.25A?

Those numbers are just the maximum current the adapter can provide. You can compare it to the maximum speed on cars, one may be 200 km/h , another may be 250 km/h but you don't care because you won't go at over 120km/h normally.

So the one rated for 4.5A will naturally be able to provide 3.25A ... it just means it could provide more if needed.

 

The most important part is for the new adapter to have the same style of barrel jack and the same diameter and depth.

As with any power supply, do not cheap out.

Get the official charger, while its 20 Euro's more it will be guaranteed to work and fit.
