ACO project stream code

I participated in project stream until the system stopped, and I'm pretty sure that they said a code would be sent to my email to keep on using the game, for free, for as long as I wanted. I was wondering if they just haven't distributed the codes yet or if I missed it somehow. I really wanted to be able to play the game.

I thought mine said a few weeks after but now I'm starting to worry that maybe they wouldn't give you a code after. Because why would they? I couldn't find the email they sent, so either I deleted it or I saw that info somewhere else.

What they did was they shut it down on that date so that you couldn't play anymore. I got a few hours in during the week leading up to that, so theoretically I should receive the code, if what you are saying is correct, right?

I know this is an "old" thread now, but I wanted to post a update in case anyone else had the same questions.

 

I just got an email from Ubisoft that they are working with Google to get the game data transferred before give out the free copy of the game. They are working diligently at it, and will provide an update on/before 25 February.

Right, I just got mine as well. It was actually already in my ubisoft account ready to use before they even sent me the email, but I can confirm that I don't have to buy it now.
