Need help!

so just got my new monitor a few days ago, upgrading from a BenQ XL2411Z to a Asus VG279Q (both 144hz, 1ms)

and i noticed some wierd artifacts ingame when trying the "Trace free" settings

When i have it on 0 it adds a lot of motion blur and feels like i'm playing 60hz (pic below)

Tried my best to take a pic of it but look at the side of the rock there's very clear ghosting

and then when i put it on 100 it adds this weird white glow on some objects ingame

On the side of the bush and the character in this pic

 

(using settings in between 0-100 just mixes both the motion blur and the white halo around objects)

How do i fix this? or is it something with the panel being IPS and not TN? not really experienced in monitors help would be appreciated!
