Hello everyone, im trying to put my new pc build together but im running into trouble with the fans. I have 6 fans im trying to install but they all need to be connected to a fan header which i know is on the motherboard. I have the asrock z97 anniversary and i can only find 3 fan headers? how do i connect 6 of them. Thank you!

There should be 2 cpu_fan headers and 2 cha_fan headers. There's also a pwr_fan header but it only provides power and no form of control. If you want to use 6 fans, use fan splitters.

The 6 fans will need to be connected to either a fan controller, or fan splitters from the headers on your motherboard

Ok thank you very much! before i order it. is this my only option to get all my 6 fans working on my asrock z97 anniversary motherboard?

You either need splitters, a hub which is often effectively the same thing, or a dedicated fan controller. A fan splitter is the simplest option.

Yeah, it's essentially the same thing. 

You can use up to 4-5 fans without splitters so it's no like you actually need the splitters asap.
