Forms question - fleet form

Hi All,

I would like to know about a way to have a form, which the user can fill, and later can comeback and add more information to the same form related to that entry.

For example:
In the morning, i fill the form with 3 type of information, and at night i continue with additional five more related to the same entry using an ID number or something.

Thats how databases work. If this is for something internal, within rather small userbase, then having just ID linking is enough. There's still possibility of messing things with human errors (one digit off means adding info to another entry). For external use, there would need to be userdatabase. Just like many companies do their employment application forms.
