Weird LED

i seen them conectors on the wifi cards inside ols sky plus boxes u could just sit them on a usb header

As James said that is a JST connector however for making that board work you will need to trace each pin and determine it's probable use and what it's for as that board is not just an LED strip but has some power regulation and was supposedly designed for some kind of control protocol.
