windows 10 wont update

so my computer is begging me to update it since it says that they are extremly important. so i just clicked the Update And Restart button. i thought it was gonna take awhile. but it didnt. i just restarted my computer without Updating it. so i tried again but this time with update and shutdown. that didnt work either... then i get a reminder after ignoring it for an hour i get a message saying that updating the computer wasnt succesful. so i did it again. it didnt update. i have windows 10 pro oem.
