Hello, I am experiencing weird issues with my display. It's a TCL https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MTGM5I9/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc. My system is: 9700k, 16g 3200mhz ram, GTX 1060 6GB.

I play gta 5 in 4k high settings, BF5 at 1080p max settings, Cities skylines 1080p max, Black ops 4 1080p max. If FPS drops below 60 i will lower a couple settings.

The issue is intermittent, There will be flickering green lines maybe 1 pixel wide and goes the length of the screen horizontally. It usually comes up when i change to 4k but persists when i switch back. I can't track down the issue, I change the graphics settings, change resolution and even change the HDMI cable which worked this time. In addition to that issue, there will be some bad screen tearing once every 40 to 60 seconds but only for a frame or two. Adaptive sync is on from the nvidia control panel. No difference with that setting on or off. That issue wasn't solved with that change.

I should also mention that this issue was around before i got a new system. At that time i had an AMD system with 16g DDR3 and a 1050ti.

I'm trying to see if there's anything i can do before getting a new TV. Thanks!

TCL is a very very cheapo tv brand , you really cannot expect a 350$ 4k tv to work well at all.

seeing as the tv does it regardless of the device you are using , then the tv is at fault. replace it and this time opt for quality over pixel quantity
