i7 8700k Cooling problem

iKn320

Hello , at first i bought a new card then some new things and overall i got whole new rig.

So now i have

Acer Predator 144 g sync 27

i7-8700k

MSI Z370 M5 Gaming

RTX 2080 VENTUS OC

G.SKILL TRIDENT Z RGB 3600MHZ 16GB RAM

850P2 EVGA PSU

What do you think?

And now im stuck on cooling 8700k.

My case is NZXT Guardian.

It has a room on top for only 1 fan thats why i was wondering about nzxt kraken n22 or x42 because of that. IF x54 with 2 fans im not sure where to put that radiator plus 2 fans in my case.

So major question is how cool will it be with n22 or x42 ?

Im not going to overclock cpu at all.

Why kraken? i just like how it looks and im sure it will perform well.

I also think about delidding it.

Thank you.

Oof! Looks like it doesn't have a reliable front vents to get fresh air in to cool the interior.. Also it is a case from 2009 era. Why this case?

My system specs:

Just that case in my older rig with i5 4430 GTX1050TI and etc.

So any ideas? on top for one cooler max is 140mm  so thats why im thinking maybe x42 will do? or not?

Also i have a chance of getting DEEPCOOL EARLKASE v2 what do you think?

The Earlakase v2 would be better than the Guardian.

An i7-8700K is going to need more than a 140mm radiator for good cooling, especially if any overclocking is planned.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Either would be fine if you're not oc'ing.

Why are you considering delidding but not oc'ing?
