I was wondering what my setup is worth and whats the best way to sell it? I built this and have never played it due to waiting for the next gen cards. I now no longer have the time or money with twins on the way to finish it. I even have the film left on the pc due to never using it and boxed peripherals that haven't been used.

Heres what I have

Thanks!

It's honestly kind of a pointless question to ask. You'll get answers, but they might not even be relevant to your locale. You really need to:

  1. Check your local classifieds
  2. Compare pricing
  3. Price accordingly
  4. Sell
  5. Profit

If you're looking to offload it quickly, PM me ?

Welcome to the forum.

Local listings would probably price it at like $2,000 lmao

yeah would I be able to sell faster of I part it out? I have had people offer for specific components I was just hoping to sell in one lot.

Honestly I think you'd get the most by selling the parts individually. You won't get more than like $800 honestly if you sell it as a whole. Do whatever you feel comfortable with.

I think you would get MORE parting it out, CPU's tend to hold there value WAY MORE then they should, 6700k's are selling on EBAY most of the time for well over $200, which is just insane if you ask me (as a 6700k owner that might sell when the next gen Ryzen comes to desktop), 7700k's are going HIGH 200's to low 300's with several a day selling on Ebay, RAM has dropped like a rock in prices since the 7700k was king of the builds, you likely spent over $200 on that RAM which can now be bought for like $130 New so you are gonna take a bath on that, there is next to no value in the used Windows key, the Case will be hard to move as you have to find someone that actually has the same taste in cases as you and that has to be local as shipping costs will kill any profit you might make there.

Exactly ;) Local buyers in his area might pay more than it'd be worth parted out.

Depends what you call faster. You'd have considerably more to sell, more work to put in, and the case will be hard to move.

Maybe for the tower, but with the included peripherals he might find a lazy buyer for more.
