Replacing the IO shield

I'm running a budget build based around some repurposed server stuff I got off ebay, naturally the motherboard did not come with an IO shield. I'm kicking around the idea of 3D printing a replacement, would there be any issues with it? or would it be better to leave it open? Thanks

you don't really need it.
