403 Error with Github Pages

Hi,

Recently programmed a website in html/css and hosted it on github via the github-pages system. However, when I try to enter a custom domain that I have bought and "theoretically" configured dns settings correctly on domain.com, whenever I attempt to access the new website, I get a 403 error.  It Says this:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

 

Anyone have any ideas? My only thought is that I should just wait to see if it fixes itself. This comment was written within an hour of attempting to access.

Looks like the domain is not pointing to GIthub but to a nginx or Apache server, perhaps try flushing your DNS cache

Everything is working now. Looks like I just had to wait a little for changes to take effect. Thanks all for your ideas and suggestions!
