I looked up this 1-3-2 beep code pattern for my Optiplex 390 mobo and it said that the code was for a problem with the ram, but I tried doing different combinations of ram sticks and different slots but none it worked. I even tried taking out the graphics card, but the beeps were still there. Anybody know if it's a different problem?

A popular method known as smelt-freezing is used to solve this problem. The steps are as follows:

1. Place affected RAM on a microwave-safe plate
2. Put the plate in a microwave (must be at least a 500W microwave)

3. Set the timer for 30 seconds (this will "smelt" your RAM by smoldering the pins and reconnecting them)
4. Take the microwave-safe plate, and place it in a freezer. Leave it there for about 2 hours.

5. Remove the RAM from the freezer, and place the memory back into the motherboard. Everything should be fixed.

If you live in California, you can probably get it done by about 8:30 p.m. which is not late at all, but I don't know if you do. It's your preference, but I'm just saying that you can use your PC pretty soon if you start right now.
