would this work and what is needed

intertan

I have a iptv service from my isp. It works provincce wide but there are some restrictions as it needs to come from my home location.

Could I use some sort of VPN setup to trick the box into thinking it is located from home?

Theoretically yes, but it might be a bit complex to setup as you'd need to proxy the data to the VPN.

Multicast IPTV can be a real PITA to get working at the best of times.
