beginner to overclocking

Good afternoon all,

I am a newcommer to the OC world and have a few questions that hopefully a few of you can help answer.

I currently own an ASUS R9 290X DCUII and love it. I mainly use the PC for photo and video editing so it is a little overkill but was a bargain price. I started doing some benchmarks and realised i could get much better scores by overclocking the GPU 

I have been using the ASUS GPUTweak II tool to overclock but not sure this is the best application for it.

Here are my clocking settings:
