How To Skip W10 Lock Screen but NOT Password Screen

TTesla
Go to solution Solved by Mike87,

You know when you turn on your PC, there is a lock screen with your background and like a clock. Then you hit enter or click and it takes you to the password / account(s).

I want my computer to skip that first screen, and let me get straight into typing my password.

This isn't for saving the 0.2 seconds it takes to hit enter, but for an annoyingly complicated unrelated reason. I don't want to compromise security by not having a password, or have netplwiz store my password unencrypted in the registry... So please let me know of alternative solutions

So I snooped around in Local Group Policy Editor and found a solution.

Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization > Do not display the lock screen ENABLED.

Probably should have done this before posting, but now others can use this I guess.
