Case fans

hi im planning on buying the pack of 3 corsair case fans. Corsair LL Series CO-9050072-WW LL120 RGB, 120mm Dual Light Loop RGB LED PWM Fan, 3 Fan Pack with Lighting Node PRO. Does anyone know if i bought another 3 that are in single packs, would i be able to connect it to that lightning node pro that comes in the 3 pack? or does it only connect with 3.

First, you have to know that the fans have 2 cables: 1x PWM fan header for power, 1x RGB header for illumination.
Then, the 3x pack comes with an LNP and an RGB Hub. The Hub can accommodate up to 6 RGB cables, so 6 fans.
After that, the hub connects to the LNP which in turn is connected via USB 2.0 to the motherboard. A LNP can accommodate 2x RGB Hubs.

The PWM headers have to be directly connected to the motherboard or a third party fan hub. You can also use the corsair commander pro which is an LNP and a fan hub combined.

You can refer to this image. It contains the commander pro instead of the LNP, but it might help you.

Ok would i need the commander pro? Im trying to put 6 case fans in the lian li pc-011 and trying to save money. buying the individual ones are cheaper. So i was gonna buy the 3 pack which is https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/Categories/Products/Fans/ml-config/p/CO-9050072-WW then buy 3 more individuals one. Thanks for your help btw.

Using the commander pro would facilitate your build considerably, it costs 70 bucks though.
An alternative is using the included LNP and a 3rd party Fan Hub such as the Thermaltake commander FP which costs about $15

That looks like cable management hell .. would you (or anyone) happen to have a picture of the commander pro next to say an ssd or hhd ?? for scale..

I myself own a commander pro, cable management was not really hard since everything is centralized in one place.

Commander pro: 13.3 x 6.9 x 1.5 cm

SSD: 10  x 7 x 0.7 cm   A commander pro is slightly longer than an SSD by around an inch if you speak american
