I need a laptop...

Hey guys, I am looking to buy a laptop that is thin, light, portable, and fast for uni. Hence, I will be looking to sell my desktop PC because two computers is just not my thing. I want to have everything on one system and on the go. As you know I am not that lame so I'd like to do some gaming when i get home. After seeing Linus's latest video on docks and eGPU, I was introduced to a new ways of user experience and how laptops can be turned into desktops through one simple cable. So I wanted to know for the price that i am paying is it worth getting a eGPU? Will It be a good replacement for my desktop in ways that I won't feel my missing PC when I'm working with my laptop? If so what should I get ? I am not looking so spend money on any sort of gaming LOOKING laptop. I want a sleek Windows alternative for a Macbook. ya know like Dell XPS 13 or 15. Razer Stealth looks nice no fancy gaming stuff. I want that feel.

Canada and anything below $1500 works battery life is important yes.

min 11 hours and something that weighed the same as like a razer stealth or like a xps 13

Lenovo Ideapad 730s (Yoga S730) 81JB0007US - ~7 hrs battery life (slightly below average)

 

Keep in mind that you have to buy eGPU enclosure+GPU or a prebuilt eGPU like Aorus Gaming Box

Both have bad cooling and questionable build quality
