I'm having a heck of a time getting my new computer working, so here is the situation...

I have a new desktop computer that I have built. The CPU is an Intel Core i5 8400 that I pulled out of an Acer Aspire TC Desktop PC. I have an 8GB stick of ram that also came from that same PC. My Motherboard is a Gigabyte H310M S2H (rev1.0). My PSU is an EVGA 500 watt power supply. Storage is a Crucial MX500 m.2 250gb SSD. Graphics card is an MSI RX580 8GB OC Edition.

Windows freezes constantly, resulting in me having to do a force shutdown. This force shutdown makes the computer not want to boot for a while, then when it does boot, it will only run for a few minutes before it freezes up and never comes unfrozen. Has anyone else encountered a problem like this and been able to solve it? I've tried running with and without the graphics card, and even tried a different boot SSD (an ADATA 240GB). Any help is appreciated. This has become quite frustrating.

Thanks in advance.
