Can someone give me a full list of what PC parts and specs I would buy to be used for Sketchup and VRay rendering. I have already an i7-7700 cpu, GTX 1080 and a 32 GB ram but still it takes around 30 mins to 1 hr to render 1 scene. I think the intel xeon and nvidia quadro would give me a faster rendering time for vray? Need help thanks.

GPU not important, AFAIK you are already at a decent GPU tier for CUDA/OpenCL rendering.  2080 is maybe a 30% bump and 2080 Ti may be good for 50%.

CPU OTOH, get a Threadripper 2950x or 2990wx.  ~4x performance on the 2950x and ~8x the performance on the 2990wx.

Are you using Vray RT or Vray?

Vray RT uses the GPU, where normal Vray only uses the CPU. Also, overclocking helps.

For CPU rendering, the threadripper 2 would render without issue.

As for GPUs, Vray RT only really cares about CUDA cores (Unless your scene is so large it exceeds the vram size)
