Hello,
so im trying to copy images from my phone to my laptop, but every time i do it, it freezes and it says "Windows explorer (not responding)". is there any way i can solve this?

PS: im not sure but could it also not work with a bad wire? sometimes it will only charge my phone instead of wanting to transfer files

Change cables, ensure when you connect your phone its set to PTP (IIRC) mode for transferring stuff, depending on your phone.

It's somewhere in Google settings, or possibly phone settings. That's the trouble with Android, easch version is slightly different from the last, and from phone to phone. On mine, when I plug it in to the computer, it'll ask which mode I want (charging only, PTP, hotspot, etc.) You'll have to do some digging around I'm afraid.
