Does the motherboard have enough fan headers?

How’s the overclocking?

Does the board have WIFI?

Anything else I should know?

Please leave any recommendations you guys have, and if you think anything needs to be changed please factor my budget. ($650 USD) Also the prices are manual because I’m basing them off MicroCenter’s pricing.

There's things I'm liking here. Nice choice of going for the B450 chipset (many people still seem to go for B350 for some odd reason). If possible, go for a 2nd generation Ryzen (such as the 2600) for a few reasons. The 2nd gen has noticeably better IPC which will benefit you in games that aren't utilizing all 6 cores. 2nd gen also uses high performance silicon, as opposed to energy efficient silicon found on 1st gen that makes it near impossible to go beyond 4ghz. I notice you don't have any storage added either, do you already have a HDD or SSD laying around that you can use?

Lastly, that power supply won't make the cut unfortunately. The RX 580 is very power hungry and requires at least a good quality 550 watt unit. Look at Corsair's CX, CS, and RMX lineups and see what you can find.

Also, that motherboard doesn't have wifi. You should be able to find a PCI-E wireless adapter pretty cheap though. DONT buy a USB adapter, they suck.

If the board doesnt have enough fan headers, you can always get splitters, fan hub's, or certain fans can daisy chain together so check that first. overclocking on first gen ryzen isnt great, but can a little bit, 2nd gen can give you a bit more beans =P the graphics card is good, an rx 580 will get you into some nice smooth gaming at very respectable settings, and most boards don't have onboard WiFi, so i would look into maybe a cheap PCI wifi card or something to go along with it. Honestly for that price, thats a pretty darn nice build. Though take the rest of your budget and put it into a better power supply =/ maybe go with a 550 and try to get gold certified? 550w gives a bit of headroom, and a higher tier better rated PSU will be more efficient, and could potentially last longer and have better warranties.

Thanks for the replies and recommendations. I already have a 1TB SSD. Thanks for pointing that out. I’ll definitely look into a better PSU and I’ll get a WiFi pci card. When shopping for the WiFi card should I look for anything in particular? A lot of people told me to buy a WiFi card with AC WiFi.  What is AC wifi? I have 30/5 speed. Will any cheap WiFi card be enough or is AC needed?

Either of these bad boys should do you well. If you're far away from your router go with the TP Link, if not the Rosewill will be just fine. I use a Rosewill PCI adapter myself, it's been flawless.

Good PSU right here. Currently the same price as the 550 watt.
