I am building a new pc and have run into a slight issue: The backplate of my gpu is hitting one of the RAM clips and keeping me from putting it in the slot. Is there a way to remove the clip from the motherboard? Or could I trim the clip down? I can't remove the gpu backplate or move the gpu to another slot(without having a severe bottleneck). I only need 1-3mm of clearance for the gpu.

Any help is very much appreciated!
