FSX issue

Hi,

I've been trying to get FSX (Steam Edition) to work for a while now but it just won't work.

It keeps displaying this error message:

Initially I thought the files were corrupted but I've tried re-installing multiple times and it keeps displaying the same error.

I've tried verifying file integrity with Steam but that seemed fine.

If someone could help me out with this I'd appreciate it very much.

Just tried re-installing (and deleting all 5 folders) again but to no avail.

I've got no idea what's wrong now.

Try this:

 

uninstall from control panel

Reinstall into windows directory

install SP1 then SP2

No problem, if that doesn’t work, edit the dll.xml file by doing this:

Oh yeah, when uninstalling the files, I read it’s reccomended to delete all 5

When uninstalling I did delete all 5 (although I'm not sure how well I did it)

I haven't tried that yet either. Thanks for telling me that though, I will try it out if reinstalling doesn't work.
