So I have suddenly encountered the BSOD while gaming. I am getting stop code:WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. From what I have gathered this is pretty generic.

System specs:

CPU: I5-8600K (OC to 5ghz with avx offset of 2)*

MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370E

RAM: Gskill trident Z RGB 3000mhz

GPU: EVGA 1070ti FTW2 OC'D

OS: Windows 10 64 bit Version 1809

PSU: EVGA 650watt G3

I built this thing about 7 months ago. never had an issue. I hardly even had any trouble with the OC. all of it was way to easy.

I was gaming last night and randomly started getting BSOD with the same stop code numerous times while in game. * I admittedly was running no AVX offset at all, and it has been fine. When I encountered this, I went in and changed the offset to 2 to see what happened. Once I done that I didn't get another BSOD but the Game (The Division) hard crashed a couple times after that. Well fast forward to today, and I have encountered the BSOD again.

I ran Windows Memory Diagnostics and it found nothing.

Here is the Log from PERFMON (if I figured it out correctly)

I admit im not that knowledgeable as most but I can maybe tough my way through it.

Thanks in advance for the help.

See if bumping voltage a little helps, if it does you were borderline before and degradation has pushed your needed voltage up a little.

Generally, below 1.4v should be fine, but not all CPUs are created equal.

I may have to downgrade my OC. I am running air cooled. In case you are curious, package temps wont go over 80C while running Cinebench multiple times. It would get up to 86-87C on IntelBurntest.

High temps with high-ish voltage accelerates degradation.  Most people are aiming for the ~70c range at full load AFAIK.

that's what I have been seeing as well. I only use the system for gaming and since it doesn't get that hot in game I figured id give it a shot. An AIO is in my future.

So I went into the BIOS, voltage was set at 1.31. I upped it to 1.33 for testing. gonna give it a go. Thanks a lot.

AIO or big air are really needed if you want a 100% reliable 5ghz setup.  Have you de-lidded and added liquid metal between the IHS and die?  That is another way to get much better temps.

I have not, but I would like to try that and push the air cooler a little bit.

Just switch back your BIOS to default settings, if there's no issues then you know your OC is the problem.
