Hi, guys I REALLY REALLY need help. So I recently built a PC brand new with the following parts:

CPU - i7 3770S

GPU - NVidia GTX 1060 6GB

Motherboard - ASUS P8Z77 - I Deluxe

RAM - An 8GB kit of two 4GB sticks of crucial something

Storage - 1 Sata SSD from Kingston, 2 Sata 7200RPM Seagate Barracuda 1TB in RAID 1

OS - Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

IKR about that config, getting better things soon...

Anyway when gaming or leaving my computer for a couple of dozen of minutes, apps will stop responding, task manager will still update until I click somewhere, the mouse still moves but shows the busy icon, and if I move the mouse to the taskbar or desktop nothing gets highlighted and then after a while, the mouse freezes and the entire system locks up... The only way to get it back up and running then was to press the reset button on my case.

Since from my current research I think it is maybe my SSD that is the issue, I have created a partition on one of my hard drives and installed Windows on that and then left it for a while and nothing happened.

On Thursday the 24th a USB3 SATA enclosure will arrive at my door so I can try and boot off of the SSD off of a different computer to see if you problem still recides. I will post back on here with my results.

I have scanned for viruses, nothing. I have updated drivers and Windows, nothing. However I do not want to go through the process of sending back my SSD and getting a new one when it turns out to be something else.

Any help would be greatly appreciated or if anyone else is having the same problem and has since been fixed, please leave how you fixed it blow.

Thanks

I have just done a couple of RAM tests, they all say it is fine. Today is arriving a USB to SATA adapter to see if it is when I boot of it on a different computer, I am also now looking into a new power supply. When I have got that adapter, I will post my results...
