I need help with LG IPS 34" curved monitor vs QLED 49" 5k curved that is coming out later this year

Turtle Rig

Ok so the successor to Samsungs 49"  32:9 with TN and QLED.  The resolution is 5120x1440p @ 120hz.   Should I wait for this monitor or should I buy a LG 34" Curved IPS 2k monitor with 144hz.  Money is really not important I know the upcoming 49" Sammy will be 1k or more.  The LG is under 500 dollars.

Also mind you, I have been sitting on 4k resolution for about 5 years ever since it came out.  So do I sacrifice size and resolution to gain IPS + 144hz.  or wait for the Sammy 5120x1440p ultra wide 49" curved TN QLED.  Your opinions matter to me, let me know.  Thanks in advance.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Can anything drive the 32:9? Will you use the extra screen space? I'm sure that 1060 can't drive it at that res.

Thank you my friend for your response I really appreciate it.  Here is the thing.  I do Music Production and I need high resolution for my DAW Sonar Platinum.  I need real estate and Im not a hardcore gamer that plays for hours a day.  However when I do play, in this case Quake Champions the motion blur and lag is horrible.  I have to set the vsync area in nvpanel  to "Fast" and its very jittery graphics,  I play FPS games and I hate the 60hz.  But also my desktop experience will be smoother at 120hz like scrolling web pages wont blur the text and be soo fluid and smooth.  Or my time line will be much smoother fluid motion.  So honestly Im wanting resolution and I don't know if I can go from 2160p to 1440 alto the horizonal resolution is 5120x ,,,,  Perhaps I can get used to 1440p vertical, but ya more real estate the better for my use in the studio.  Also I know my video card can't give 144fps but it doesn't matter imo, as long as the screen is 120hz in this case with the upcoming Sammy things will be fluid and smooth even if your FPS isn't 144hz..... even 80fps will be soo smooth and fluid and no dropped frames....  Also a factor is its VA display QLED 120Hz IPS 144hz ,,,,, Can I overclock that 120hz ?  24fps per second more should give a difference right ?  Anyhow I will give my current monitor to my old man and live with the 1440p.  However Im scared it will be overpriced.   Then the price comes down by 400 or 500 dollars after half a year or a year.....   I jumped the gun once when I got one of the worlds first 28" 4k 1ms monitor the Sammy,, or one of the first.  The viewing angles were horrible, I hope the new Sammy isn't like this.  I don't do any video editing or photo editing so perhaps IPS is not for me ?
