Hi, I am looking for a laptop to get for my school this year and was looking for suggestions.

My budget (a loan from the bank of mum and dad) is £500 but I might be able to get them to consider £700.

The laptop would help to have a good battery as I will be using it for school work during the day but I would also like to be able to run the latest games (even though I won’t admit this to the bank manager).

Storage wise I would hope for an SSD boot drive but would be fine with a hard drive (min 1TB).

As always, thanks to anyone that helps!

What games? Mind lower video settings?

Any preference on weight and display size?
