I've been using the razer deathadder elite for 3 years now.

For 2 of those years the middle mouse click has been working on and off, I hardly ever used it at the time so I wasn't too concerned.

Recently the middle mouse click has ceased to work entirely.

So basically I'm looking for recommendations on a new mouse that feels similar to the deathadder elite and possibly at a cheaper price.

i wouldnt know what other mouse would feel like a deathadder elite, but have you tried getting the mouse switch replaced? the right click on my deathadder broke, and a replacement switch fixed that problem.... maybe you could get a little bit more life out of your mouse.

There is no such thing as a bad PC, there are only BETTER PCs

Na I don't really want to try fixing it as I'm going to sell it away and am scared of breaking it.  ?

Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

G403 or G703 would probably be one of the closer alternatives to a Deathadder. I wouldn't pay anywhere near MSRP for the Logitech mice though, the G403 comes down to around $35 and $40 a few times a year. Zowie makes some similar shapes to the Deathadder as well that should be considered.

I'd suggest to take the opportunity to research mice as there's so many options nowadays there's sure to be something that works for you. RocketJumpNinja does some decent mouse and keyboard reviews/videos. His Top 40 list is pretty useful as a shortlist of mice you should also consider. http://www.rocketjumpninja.com/top-40/
