Upgrading from haswell; Thoughts?

Hello all; I would like to inquire on your opinions on what would be a good upgrade to my current setup. I currently have a i5 4670k that is Overclocked to 4.3 GHz on all four of it's threads. Water cooled by an nzxt kraken x52 240 aio. It's been great for a while, but I can tell it's aging and probably bottlenecking my gtx 1070ti I recently upgraded to. I am more of a power user; and usually have multiple things open at any given time; Discord, chrome, and unity are all open at any given time. I do game when I can but this rig is more used like a workstation because I do use Vegas and blender alot. I do also use VR but that is probably not important information.

 

My budget for the CPU is ~ $300 But can be higher if needed. I would need something that is good for multitasking and rendering videos. I would obviously need a new motherboard and ram; but I'll figure that out myself.
