CPU and GPU undervolting

So I heard that undervolting laptops are very good and it increases battery life less fan noise so I wanted to do it. Can anyone give me tips to do it it will be helpful.

Laptop 

Msi gl62m 7rex 

Specs 

I5 7300hq 2.5-3.5ghz

Gtx 1050 ti 2gb

Btw I am aiming for less fan noise since this this makes the fans spin 6000rpm while gaming and lower temps and maybe increase core clocks and memory clock if there's any headroom

maybe you can under-volt the gpu using msi afterburner but not the cpu .

the cpu is locked.

You can undervolt the CPU using Throttlestop and Intel XTU, you can find YouTube guides on those. For the graphic card use MSI Afterburner and you have to set a custom fan curve, again YouTube that.
