PS2 controller for pc

I bought a old fanatec speedster pure. It had the old 9 pin connector so i bought a usb adapter as well. When i connect it to the computer windows recognizes it as twin usb joystick. When i try to use it the wheel dosent do anything and i cant seem to find any drivers for it either. Does anyone know what i could do about this? Thanks

Are you trying to use it with PCSX2? If so doesn't the plugin have something where you can specify that It's a wheel rather than a controller

Remember the PC only sees the usb adapter, not each controller as independent devices. If the wheel doesn't show up my two first thoughts are either it is not working /broken or the usb adapter isn't compatible with it
