Do I have a bottleneck??

I want to upgrade my system but I'm not sure which part to do first. My specs are quite low, I have a I3-6100, GTX 1050 Asus single fan 2GB. H110-S2H MOBO and a 240GB BX500 SSD boot drive. But I have a feeling one part is bottlenecking the other and I'm not sure how to test it. I've tried over clocking the GPU to see if that makes a difference to frame rates to see if it was worth over clocking and I can't tell whether it'd be worth the upgrade of the GPU or CPU.

 

Any advice would appreciated.

It's a pretty balanced system tbh. I would probably upgrade both the cpu and gpu if you wanted better performance.

If your just gaming, I'd upgrade the graphics card to a RX 580 or GTX 1060. 
Your CPU should handle either of those cards well.

Not to wrry boys. I upgraded to a RTX 2060 then to a Ryzen 7 1700 a week after. Problem solved
