Only one that I saw was the Thermaltake Level 20 keyboard.

Personally never used them before so I am in no position to give a verdict, but judging from reviews, they're keyboards are alright.

I am having a hard time choosing the right keyboard...

Do you mind if I ask what you have and what you would like to have?

To help you choose I think it would be better to ask what you want to have in a keyboard, or even what you will be using it for? Also budget.

 

I am currently all in on the custom keyboard train which not many people want to get into. If you really want to know I currently have a iGK64 and a TKC1800. I would like to have a TGR Alice or a CA66, but both of those are not available anymore and they cost too much on the used market.

Very interesting looking style of keyboards...

What I want is RGB and mostly for gaming. Silent keys. I also want a media control with a scroll wheel. I have checked out almost all of them but I feel like there are some out there I have yet to check out. 

Do keyboards get a refresh every year or every 5 years?

Not really sure on the interval of releases.

The problem with "gaming" keyboards is that they have mechanical switches and they are not really truly silent even with something like Cherry Silent Red switches, so expect some noise. The volume wheel requirement is a bit hard to fulfill since the ones that have it aren't offered with Silent Reds. The only ones that I can find are the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 and Strafe RGB MK.2.

Personally, I think Thermal take is a shitty brand, and has questionable qc.

The leopold fc900r and 750r with mx silent reds are quite silent due to their closed case design, dampening mat and thick doubleshot pbt caps, a reason that corsair boards with the same switches sound louder could be due to their open floating switch design and thin abs keycaps.
