PLEASE HELP ME

around 5 days ago i got a virus and cleaned it of after that any god damn app i try to open give me an error (look at pic) i can open it if i run it as admin but it still so annoying.*

 i tried to update origin and it gave me this error so i can't update it lol

please y'all help me i  tried every goddamn thing and i dont want to format my pc

uninstall orgin and clean reg.

then download and reinstall the client.

Have gone through the windows admin setting and gave it permission to run without it

the thing is this happens with every app on my pc litrelly ... i can't reinstall every app can i

No, that would be painful better to wipe hard drive and reinstall if that was needed. What did you do to get rid of the virus and what kind was it?

i spoke with microsoft employ and he said that my widnows files are corrupted is there a way to fix em ?

Can you open older files on your PC at all?

 

Also download Malwarebytes and run a scan.

virus name is "neshta" i downloaded this tool "https://www.avg.com/en-ww/remove-win32-neshta" then i ran zemana antimalware and got rid of the virus

If it already corrupted the data, which sounds like it did, you need to reinstall the apps to be safe you can also wipe the drive it was on.

Salvage files and reinstall windows. Its the best course of action.

I meam, shure. As long as you do the tid bits to run games properly.

 

Personally id reinstall windows

In some aspects, yes. In relation to games? Not really, though proton has really helped that along.

 

It has a lot to do with workloads and taste. 

 

Personally there is a lot i like about linux, however my usecase doesnt benefit from it.

right gotchu ... well i mostly  game so probably windows is better for that .

Id also highly suggest taking a look at what Proton has done for linux. You might be interested though its mostly in relation to Steam.

and not all steam games are supported if i remember right

For gaming? No. For basically anything else? No. Should you get a different Linux distro instead of Ubuntu? Yes.

 

Some of my favourites are MX Linux and Manjaro Linux, but I'd look around on distrowatch.com if I were you.
