Antec P6 case HELP

i have liked the antec p6, the website says max psu clearance is 160mm. i have v1000 coolermaster which is 170mm.. from videos it seems if i relocate the hdd it will hold 160mm plus psus, so why does the site says max psu length 160mm?  is it possible to fit longer psu into p6?
