Phison S11 controller SSD

Hi guys!

 

I want to ask for some help.

I bought an Integral P5 120GB SSD, with a Phison S11 controller inside. (It's works so far, installed it like 1,5 weeks ago.)

It's on discount actually and you can get them for about 24 USD each.

I wanted to pull the trigger on two other piece, but I came across THIS reddit post.

Any of you have some experience with SSDs with this controller? Are they really defective and low end stuff?

 

I already ordered two more, but I can still cancel it. Please help me!

I'm kinda only worried about data loss tho'. The devices have 3 years of warranty...

Canceled the order... The risk factor with the one I already have, is enough.

Gone with 2xADATA Ultimate SU800 128GB instead. Hopefully thats a better choice.

Im still curious that SSDs with this type of controller, are posing a risk or not!
