Yes that was a Beatles reference. Anyways i should say that i am not an audiophile by any means. But i wanted to ask whether  i would lose quality if i just got a m/f 3.5 extension cable to go to the back of the computer to directly plug it in. Or should i get like a different connector of some sort to have a better sound. Btw i need extra length cable for my earbuds either way. Last but not least i have a pair of Klipsch S4 not the S4 II.

HELP! Not just anybody

 

It's a cable.  As long as the connections are good, it will have no effect until it becomes VERY long.

Even the Beatles agree, you need a solid ground to make your sound work properly.
