I read over the pinned thread regarding this issue. I was going to boot off of a thumb drive to run memtest86. So I changed the boot order from the OS drive to the thumb drive. I "save and rest" and my problem starts. So I have no bios screen flash or anything. The fans are spinning, motherboard LEDs are on and GPU fans spin. I tried using the speaker for beep Codes. But I hear nothing. Thinking I plugged the speaker in wrong I turned it around. Still nothing. Tried different monitors, clear the CMOS with pins and by removing the battery. I removed all other components expect for the one stick of RAM and CPU.

Specs:

Mobo: Asus H67-M Evo

CPU : i5 2500 non k

PSU: Seasonic M12II 520w.

RAM: Mushkin Silverline 10666 (2x2gb)

That is some amazing overclocking ram. 10666 Mhz. How did you get 10 Ghz ram? Kidding aside, I think it is a setting in the bios. What os are you using?

Hah Typo? I am using Windows 7 Sp1.

Sorry for the joke. Windows 8 has fastboot and that is an issue but you have 7. Try spamming the delete key as soon as you hit the power switch.

Spammed it for a good minute. Nothing. Don't worry I can take a joke.

Good. That is a odd issue. Did it boot in to windows?

Not 100% sure this would work but, if there is a way (maybe a physical button on the mobo...?) to reset the bios settings/clear the cmos, it may go back to the way it was. This is kind of weird though because, usually, when a mobo cant boot onto a selected device, it'll continue down the list until it finds something in the boot order that will work. Weird.

As far as the boot order goes all I set it to was one option the, thumb drive. Nothing else. So the bios has nothing too go to next. The motherboard doesn't have any buttons for clearing the bios. It does have some pins that you can short with a jumper. Tried that and it didn't work. My guess is that I corrupted the bios but some how I cannot reset it. I still don't understand why there is no bios screen
