Small but many software(?) problems. Please Help!!!

Hello everyone!

Recently I bought an SSD for a boot drive and installed windows 8.1 (not authentic copy).

1st. Problem:

The first issue is that sometimes my Realtek audio drivers (latest version) (on-board audio) detect devices in inputs: Mic In, Center / Subwoofer out and Line In. This happened once while I was just in the desktop doing nothing and there was this Realtek alert icon that was saying that a new audio device was connected and after the icon disappeared another notification popped up that was saying that an audio device was disconnected.

This two notifications were showing up until I unpluged the 3.5 jack cable that goes into my receiver for my speakers. Pluged it back in, problem fixed.
But yesterday I was playing BF4 and suddenly I had no sound from my speakers and after a second the sound came back but on my USB headset (WTF?!). So I unplugged the 3.5 jack cable, put it back in and it was fixed. This happened two times in one day.

So I am thinking maybe I should uninstall completely the Realtek drivers for audio. Do they make any difference in audio quality ? I have a Denon receiver for my speakers if thats matters.

2nd. Problem:

This is a simple one. When windows boot up, sometimes I have no internet connection for like 15 seconds or so. Like windows take too much time to load the ethernet / internet drivers (?), I have no idea.

Problem no. 3:

This one is simple too. I boot into windows and there is no pointer on the screen. I have to unplug my mice and plug it again to work.

Problem no. 4:

In devise manager I have a unknown device. I have no idea what this is.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's all that I can think of right now.

Everything have the latest drivers. I scanned for viruses with AVG, no problem. And latest windows updates.

I don't think it's a hardware issue that problem with the audio. On windows 7 I was fine.

Please help!!! Any suggestions are welcomed!!  :D

Sorry for the long post!

i have  to say windows 8 is sadly not worth pirating.  you are going to need the updates to make it functional.  depending on how you got it, it may be full of malware to start with.  get some av and MB

1st q

thats new drivers and os for you,  wait for and update to drivers and try again possibly related to q4.

2nd q

open msconfig and see if you have a networking application/control program change its start up priority, also possibly related to q4

3rd q

this ones odd?  sounds like the usb hub is not running unless refreshed. try different usb ports.  next to network are better for io

4th q

it has to be something on the pc. unplug all usb things see if it goes away.  if not its

chip-set (usb hub or something)

sound (possible given issues)

network (possible given issues)

go to you components or pc manufacture web site and manually install drivers.

Hey! Thanks for the reply!

I have activated Windows so I have all the latest updates. Aslo I have already installed the latest drivers for my GPU and my motherboard from my manufacturers websites.

I will try to re install the audio drivers, see if that fixes it. I can't find anything wrong in the start up priorities for the internet problem.

I changed the USB port for my mice as you said. This was not happening every time so I will have to wait and see. Same for the audio issue.

The weirdest part is that there is no unknown device now. I didn't find it even before I changed my mice USB port as I woke up today. I deleted some files manually of a program that it was installed without my permission by an installer I guess. So maybe that's whats was causing the unknown device.

EDIT: Mice thing happened again. I am thinking maybe it's just the mice itself because it's an old generic Microsoft mice. And this is happening ONLY with the mice. Also I remembered that this was happening when I had Windows 7. But not so often.

I will post again if anything weird happens.
