QLED can burn in an image so not good for computers.

Why would Sammy use the technology on most of their stuff if it does burn in ?  Especially the 49" ultra wide gamers monitor qled curved 144hz and what not.

QLED are VA panels with a QD film added.

So ..bassicaly your comparing VA to IPS... personaly i prefer VA as it has a better looking picutre due to its better contrast and darker greys (still cant produce black, its still LCD)

BUT

it will have slower pixel response and like all VA, it will have poor viewing angles.

Their are 3 types of LCD panel but u dont see them advertised as:

VLED  (VA)

or

ILED (IPS)

or

TLED (TN)

The Q was added to LED to compete vs OLED, compete and confuse ..which it does very well. The uninformed get the 2 mixed up all the time.

Same goes for LCD vs LED .. LED is a LCD ..its just the new name they gave LCD tv's when they transition from CCFL backlight to LED side/back lighting.

Even the 'quantom dot' tech they are usuing is the cheapest and worst of the multiple QD technologies currently developed. 'real' QD is self emmsive, but will likely never come to market due to price and the fact Micro-LED is easier to develop.

Its all marketing BS in the end.

Oh and a note on OLED ,  'burn in' is a thing, but its not as extreme an issue as peopel make out, they are perfectly fine being used for gaming and PC use so long as u take precautions. treat it as u would have treated a Plasma TV, or even a CRT.  use screen savers, hide ur task bar, dont open you windows up in full screen all the time. Dont keep static UI games on screen for extended periods ..etc etc.
