Would it be better to buy a reference one now then save for 2 months or so for a g10 + Kraken x40 

OR 

Buy a DCUII model.

 

Basically will I notice lower sound with the 1st solution and will it give me enough preformance to justify the extra cost of the watercooling stuff?

It seems like all of the non reference cards are being recalled except for the tri-x. God damn why do they keep giving people trouble with RMA and false hope.

DCUii, but wait for the revision. Air Cooling > Water Cooling in most cases.

Maybe it would be good to keep my 670 for another Gen of cards because it already maxes everything out anyway. then ill just buy and h100i, LEDs, and another SSD

Sapphire Tri-X, better performance and super cool. Looks very nice also, imo. Wait a month or two, by that time the prices should drop, hopefully.

Does the warranty or anything get killed when you use a G10+AIO Cooler?

If so, and your worried about that, your decision is made.

When have any company ever supported modification of their product? the only company o know of to do a small stretch of things is EVGA, but even they will not cover cooler replacements.
