RTX 2070 or 2080

Hello, 

i am building a new pc. The monitor I picked out is a Dell S2716DG (27” 1440p 144hz with Gsync). 

 

My my main concern is that the RTX 2070 can run most games on ultra settings. I am new to PC gaming so I do not know exactly what games I will play but I enjoy racing to FPS games. 

 

Here is my build, will I have a good gameplay experience with my monitor?

 

CPU : i7-9700k

CPU cooler: NZXT kraken x62

MOBO: MSI Carbon gaming ac 

Ram: corair domplat 16gb @3200 

storage: 500 m.2 nvme , 1tb ssd

gpu : MSI RTX 2070 armor 

case: NZXT H700i 

PSU: EVGA 850 gold plus

 

what are your thought / real live experiences with this gpu and 1440p 144hz ?

You should be good to go.

with ultra settings, prob 80-90 fps  with 2070, with 2080 100-110, depending on the game so you are good to go with both.
