Is your CPU overclocked? At stock speeds it is not unusual for a game that's as piss poor optimized as PUBG to see numbers like that.

Also what's your GPU?

not much CPU usage + high GPU usage + good performance = perfectly normal

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

No it's not. But like i feel sometimes the game when is lagging and some fps drops here and there. But probably because i have an ultra wide monitor?

The 1080TI can easily handle 3440x1440 in most games, including PUBG. Try overclocking your CPU a fair bit to see what that does. IIRC you should be able to achieve a decent 4.7Ghz OC without touching voltages if you have a good motherboard.

Are you getting stuttering and FPS drops after jumping out of the plane or while roaming about on the map? FPS drops while diving out of the plane are very common and aren't really an issue to be worried about.

When i drop sometimes i lag like crap. But then it gets better and fps goes back to 96-97 i keep my fps capped because i have g sync. And i dont want v sync to kick on. And then when i roam around the map like example cities? I get fps drops in those area a lot like i get 75-80 fps drops.

Are you running the game on full ultra settings? Reducing shadows to medium or lower can improve your framerate a lot. Reducing view distance helps too (and doesn't affect player visibility). Foliage on minimum settings gives a small advantage in gameplay and improves performance pretty decently. Reducing effects quality gives the same benefits as reducing foliage.

Give those a shot.

I just tried witcher 3 wild hunt mostly on ultra with hairworks on and im averaging on 70 fps. which isn't bad for ultra wide monitor. i checked cpu usage and it was 17% now this is crazy.

Witcher 3 is far less CPU intensive than PUBG, and that framerate is pretty much to be expected for having hairworks enabled at 3440x1440.
