Hey guys. Need a bit of help. 

 

I want to repaste my cpu and gpu on this laptop. I also want to replace the goo on the VRM and capacitors. 

 

Can anyone tell me what to replace it with?

 

Thermal paste or grease? What brand?

Definitely thermal paste I am not sure about the brands but maybe a brand called Arctic and you can search for more brands online

That's an Asus, so a repaste will VOID your warranty

True. But the temps are so hi that I'm willing to risk it. 88 - gpu and 90-96 cpu.

could you make a stability test (cpu+gpu) using aida64 extreme? is there throtteling? what temperatures?

 

use Throttlestop for undervolting your cpu

I had the same thought initially. But the CPU is locked. All voltage settings are greyed out.

Did. Ranges of 10-18%. CPU throttle. Don't remember temps
