Which one is better?

Bljuzga

Hi I'm seeking for advice since I've never experienced anything except 1080p at 60HZ, i've got a new rig with a 2080ti inside and I'm searching for an upgrade on my old monitor which is (https://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GC2870H-Eye-care-Monitor-Flicker/dp/B01DPQ3FMA).

I've been browsing for a while and I am still not sure to go with 3440x1440 or 4k I'm kind of between these two monitors, any and all suggestions would be helpful:

4k option( Samsung U32H850 32" UHD Monitor) : https://www.ebuyer.com/798346-samsung-u32h850-32-uhd-monitor-lu32h850umuxen?mkwid=c_dc&pcrid=247282886549&pkw=&pmt=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4OW2p_XR3wIVjw3gCh092AzCEAEYASAGEgJdX_D_BwE

3440x1440 option(Acer ED347CKR bmidphzx 34" this one is on sale at the moment):  https://www.newegg.com/global/ie-en/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824011196

I play mostly HOTS and WOW and I got Battlefield 5 with my GPU so I'll be playing that a lot as well.

Thank you for any advice.

they both look good, but i would go with the 2k model for gaming since it's 100hz. Coming from someone with a 4k 60hz panel, i think i would have rather gone with a 100+ hz panel at 2k for gaming. The difference in detail is fairly negligible, but the framerate makes a huge difference in gaming

One thing I failed to notice on NewEgg is that when you count the VAT the price comes down to 600 EUR and with shipping to and import prices the price jumped to 2.6k Euro , every time I refresh the page on NewEgg the price changes between 800 EUR to 2600 EUR which is really strange.

I would personally go for a 27' at 160hz. but here is a 31.5 at 144hz with a 2k display: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824475015

The one you posted is out of stock and I don't think NewEgg is a good website if your based in Europe because the shipping alone is 200 USD and VAT + Import Taxes on a monitor that costs +-450USD can go up to 1.6k USD which is ridiculous. I was one step away from ordering the Acer ED347CKR if the actual price wasn't 2000 USD more then the advertised one.

Is anyone able to find this monitor that can be delivered or is sold in Europe, any site except NewEgg because their shipping costs are half of the monitors value.

Here is the link from NewEgg 3440x1440 option(Acer ED347CKR bmidphzx 34" this one is on sale at the moment):  https://www.newegg.com/global/ie-en/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824011196
