First PC build

Been watching Linus and his various channels for a while, but only recently discovered this site. My laptop is dying, which has prompted me to build my first ever desktop PC. However, I don't know nearly enough for any of this, and I was hoping somebody could get me going in the right direction.
The pc would be used primarily for gaming and coding. I'm hoping to have room for upgrades in the future, when my budget will allow. And for now I would run a single monitor, but eventually would like to run 2.
I already have my peripherals, and a 1tb 3.5" hdd. Otherwise my budget is around 700 canadian dollars. Any help at all will be much appreciated.

How loose is your budget? For about $800 you can get a fairly great pc for 1080p gaming

I can adjust as I need to, or pick up parts piecemeal. The $700 was for buying everything at once.

I was reading over it. Thanks for getting back so quickly. I'll take a look at the parts you've listed.

Then try to go with something close to what @LukeSavenije had. But theres new AMD processors coming soon so I'd hold out for a month or so

What is CES? Sorry, I'm still very new to all of this. To be honest I don't know much about the parts I need either, despite you listing them.

Did you have an opinion on the budget build Linus made for  video a couple weeks ago.? The "Just game" rig.

- Ryzen 3 2200G: https://lmg.gg/8KVQB

- 2x4 GB DDR4-2400: https://lmg.gg/8KVQJ

- Gigabyte AB350M-DS3H: https://lmg.gg/8KVQZ ( had to subsitute this board https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157762&ignorebbr=1  since the one listed was not available)

- FSP Berserker 500W: https://lmg.gg/8KVQ4  (same for the power supply. subbed with this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139147&ignorebbr=1)

- Cougar MG110: https://lmg.gg/8KVQV

- Radeon RX 570 4GB: https://lmg.gg/8KVQq

And on another note, would all of these parts even work together? I don't know how to tell.

2600 is way better

that mobo is meh against the one i selected

2x4 is enough, but if you want to listen music while gaming, it's not enough already. 16 is highly recommended, and 3000 mhz gives you a nice bump in performence

imo the cx is better

focus g looks and is better imo

570 4gb vs 580 8gb? should i answer that one?

there has been a lot of criticism on their choise of components, that's why i always make lists based on the user, not a general list. stretch your budget a little, and get something that i listed i would say
