I have a ps2 keyboard I want to use, however I need an adapter for it. Is there an adapter that will fit in an expansion slot that I can find?

Ok, but is there one that can fit in an expansion slot. I have had a hard time finding one of those

I don't have a PCI slot only PCIe

Then get an adapter

 

USB is the easiest way to go, don't see a reason why youre avoiding it
