Hello, I am a fairly nooby computer builder, and I made a big mistake in cloning my system to my new SSD.

I got a new 1tB Samsung 860 EVO SSD, and I used EaseUS Todo Backup -tool to move my files to the new ssd. I then noticed that only the old HDD's amount of space was being used ~300gB,

so I tried to make the new boot disk (D:) bigger, and accidentally changed it from a primary partition to a basic volume, and it didn't even make it bigger. What can I do to: a) ensure that i can boot from my SSD, and b) use all of the unallocated space in my SSD?

I'm not sure of anything right now and I need help. Please.

Do you have all the data on your hard drive still? I feel like you should just clone it again and extent the partition correctly

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I do have the data, but how I haven't been able to find out how to extend the partition correctly.

To extend, you right click on the partition and select "extend" as far as I remember.

Use MiniTool Partition Wizard to move, resize etc. partitions without any problem.
